Amazon is finally starting to win over fashion brands.

Amazon is finally starting to win over fashion brands. The ecommerce giant has taken on every industry from streaming to groceries, but while it has taken steps to become an apparel hub, it’s had some hurdles winning over the fashion industry. Counterfeits, its algorithmic approach to merchandising, and its lack of distinction between specific products have been major issues. But during the pandemic, Amazon launched initiatives to appeal to high-end labels—like hosting a Big Style Sale as well as shop collaboration with Vogue and the CFDA. YPulse data shows that 51% of 13-39-year-olds are Amazon Prime users, giving fashion brands plenty of reasons to play nice with the site. (Glossy)
