Millennial workers are staying loyal to their employers. According to Pew Research, 70% of 22-to-37-year-olds have worked at their current job for longer than a year—which is just as long as their Gen X counterparts stayed in a role at the same age. A Prudential survey found that 49% wanted to work for their employer for another four years, challenging the stereotype that Millennials are job hoppers. While younger workers tend to move jobs after several years, it’s not just for the sake of changing jobs—but mainly to continue moving up and building essential skills. (WSJ)
