Gen Z and Millennials are “workaholics” who want to ditch the job-hopper stereotype. According to a Zapier report, 18-to-39-year-olds are hard-working, loyal employees—maybe a little too much. They reportedly plan to stay at their current jobs for the next 6 to 10 years, while 65% of 18-to-23-year-olds and 73% of 24-to-39-year-olds say their job is a major component of their personal identity. The same survey showed that 71% of Gen Z and 69% of Millennials admit to checking their work messages outside of work, while over half expect their teammates to respond outside of regular work hours.
