Brat TV topped $10 million in revenue—mostly from the digital network’s YouTube ad sales. Last year, YPulse called Brat a teen media brand to keep an eye on thanks to their plan to target teens by producing TV right where the generation is already watching: YouTube. The digital media network features original programming like Chicken Girls and Sunnyside Up, and this year they increased their revenue from $3 million to $10 million by bringing on their own sales team—and are expecting an increase to $25 million in 2020. According to the brand’s CEO, “We’re really interested in TV sellers as that medium is obviously hurting but advertiser demand is not.” (Digiday)
