Twitter swiftly reacted to the product launch video with messages like, “An entire generation were told not to eat tide pods and you just set them all back.” Visual comparisons to laundry pods and the Gen Z challenge to eat them seem inevitable, so it’s very likely the innovative line is intended for young, dark humored, adventurous drinkers.
