Snapchat and Tinder users are more accepting of plastic surgery. JAMA surveyed people over the age of 18, with a mean age of 25, to find that social media users are more likely than non-users to hold accepting views of plastic surgery. The finding was especially true for users of specific platforms, like Tinder, YouTube, and Snapchat. One medical professional explains, “Beginning to understand how social media and the photo editing culture our patients are living in is the first step to navigating our patients through this newly enhanced world.” (Mashable)
