A new app wants to be female Millennials’ go-to resource for solo travel. Created by two twenty-something females, the Travel à la Carte app lets Generation Wanderlust create budgets and book travel, accommodations, and experiences with a single payment. It also includes fintech features like a digital wallet that can exchange currencies for a QR code and Venmo-like options to send and split costs. They’re focusing first on China but plan to expand to the U.S. later this year. (SCMP)
