Millennials are looking to personal tech solutions to keep them safe. The prevalence of workplace or campus violence and sexual harassment or abuse causes people to look increasingly to tech for safety, starting with their smartphones. Some young people are also using personal alarm devices to warn passersby or personal alert systems that contact programmed people. (Forbes)
