In other YouTube news, the video platform is levelling up its esports efforts and gaining on Twitch. Monthly active streamers on YouTube Gaming grew by 343% last year, while Twitch’s grew 197%—according to StreamLabs. However, YouTube has a long ways to go to challenge Twitch’s dominance over esports streaming.
