Instagram is rolling out a new feature for college students. The new opt-in tool allows users to connect with “a virtual community of peers.” They can receive or deny messages from fellow members and can add their clickable school and graduation year to their profile. The feature could be inspired by Tinder U, a tool from the swiping dating app that lets users narrow down their search for a date (or study buddy) to nearby campuses or classmates. (CNN, The Verge)
