It turns out Millennials are single because they want to be. Seventy-two percent of 18-25-year-olds told dating app Tinder that they’ve “made a conscious decision” to be single for a while, and 81% think being single is beneficial to their work performance, personal growth, and more. The demo is taking their time settling down, with 40% saying they won’t settle for a long-term relationship with the wrong person—which could be contributing to the dropping divorce rate.
