Google’s immersive new pop-up invites shoppers into a smart treehouse. The Google Hardware Store’s treehouse is fully integrated with Google Home, from the doorbell to the lights. Outside of the tree house, shoppers can also hop on the store’s swing for an Instagrammable photo op that demonstrates the Pixel 3’s camera-capturing abilities (and garners some free press). A Google exec explains that, “it’s as much [about] getting people excited to talk about [the products] as it is to get people buying them.” (Adweek)
