When shopping for cars, Millennials are looking for practicality over luxury. According to a new Crowdtap survey with an average respondent age of 29, cost, space, and environmental efficiency are considered valuable to both car buyers and renters—beating out luxury features or phone connectivity. When asked what they use vehicles for, 47% of urbanites say quicker travel, while 65% of suburbanites say a mix of commuting, running errands, and weekend travel. For about 66% of Millennial car owners, a used car under $25,000 fits their needs. (MediaPost)
