CEO Chieh Huang says it’s because: “for the last 30 years, value equaled price. But now, value equals price, convenience, and a little bit of brand. And so that's what we bring to the equation.” Boxed’s e-commerce platform is a familiar model for its Millennial consumers, but the company’s culture and their social activism are also credited for their success so far.
