A co-living space wants to be “the solution to the loneliness crisis.” To combat the challenge of making adult friends in a new city, Common (which we wrote about last year) has set up co-living houses in New York, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, and elsewhere, offering “well-designed, fully furnished rooms” and a real-life social network.

A co-living space wants to be “the solution to the loneliness crisis.” To combat the challenge of making adult friends in a new city, Common (which we wrote about last year) has set up co-living houses in New York, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, and elsewhere, offering “well-designed, fully furnished rooms” and a real-life social network. Similar to college RAs, each location has a “house leader” who leads events to build communities, like “Game of Thrones viewing parties, backyard barbecues, [and] weekly Sunday brunches.” (Co.Design)
