Indian Millennials think overwork and office politics are the greatest challenges they face in the workplace. The two were nearly tied in the Harvard Business Review’s recent survey of 18-34-year-olds in India, with 25-34-year-olds more likely to rank overwork the highest, and 18-24-year-olds more apt to place office politics at the top of their lists. Hard skills also took precedence over soft skills, as more rated their technical competence high while many thought their “emotional intelligence, stress management, persuasion, and analytical thinking” were wanting.
