One of the highest paid people on YouTube is teaching kids to bake “nerdy” treats. Rosanna Pansino’s Nerdy Nummies YouTube channel has drawn in 8.5 million subscribers and 2 billion views by instructing viewers to bake Harry Potter cakes, unicorn poop cookies, and other desserts inspired by pop culture. Starting with just a box of cake mix and an $80 camera in 2011, she’s climbed the vlogger ranks and is currently making about $6 million a year. (NPR)
