Giphy is finally ready to monetize on its 200 million daily active users. They’re starting with “sponsored GIFs within messaging experiences,” meaning (for instance) a search for “morning” might pop up a GIF of Starbucks coffee. Between the API and the website, Giphy reportedly has 200 million daily active users and 250 million monthly active users on its site—meaning mostof its users are engaging every day.
