A Netflix co-founder’s latest venture lets its users go to the movies as much as they want—and they just dropped their price to $10 a month. Moviepass knows young people are all about experiences, and don’t want to pass up IRL movies to stream them from their couches. Ypulse data shows over half of 13-17-year-olds and 35% of 18-34-year-olds go to the movies in their free time. But Moviepass blames the “high price of ticket sales” for stalling theatre revenue, and hopes their low prices and subscription model will help bring back the box office. (Bloomberg)
