Generation Wanderlust is picking their travel destinations based on overall Instagrammability. A new survey from TravelZoo shows that nearly two-thirds of Gen Z is inspired by social media when making their travel plans. Restaurants and hotels know social media is impacting Millennial travel, so they’re “tak[ing] great care in the imagery [they] post and how [they] appear”—even going so far as to train restaurant staff on how to create and take the perfect picture for a post.
