UGG teamed up with alt-pop band Muna for back to school. The band will be featured in paid media across Meta, Snap, TikTok, and Pinterest alongside other young creators, artists, and students, all produced at Santa Monica High School in Los Angeles. The campaign aims to inspire self-expression and individuality through art, as Munaβs three members identify as queer and have made self-expression a theme of their art and aesthetic. The brand is also continuing its partnership with Queer|Art, a nonprofit supporting LGBTQ+ artists, and Chicxs Rockerxs South East Los Angeles, a music, mentorship and social justice nonprofit. To further engage young shoppers, UGG announced a lineup of emerging creators across universities for its college ambassador program. And starting in August, shoppers who spend more than $150 at UGG stores will get a custom coloring book and crayonsβwhich is not just for the kiddos in the analog era! (Marketing Dive)
