Snif and Ulta are betting on young male fragrance enthusiasts. Snif’s sub-brand Notewrks, a cologne line with more masculine scents marketed to young men, launched last year. But with the new partnership, three of its existing scents will be available to shop at Ulta along with a new scent called Double Take. The fragrances come in magnetic packaging with metal details and distinct colors to feel like a collectible product. While Ulta already stocks men’s fragrances, this particular launch will target young male consumers who tend to discover scents on social media or from their parents. The price point is also purposely lower than Ulta’s other offerings. To promote the launch, Snif is also working with content creator CologneCrown to gain young viewers’ trust from recommendations.
