Young people in the U.K. collect more than older gens. According to new research from NFU Mutual, 71% of Gen Z and 51% of Millennials have collected items like books, watches, jewelry, vinyl records, cryptocurrency, and moreβ€”compared to 35% of Gen X and just 29% of Baby Boomers. Some of these collectibles, like art, furniture, and jewelry, are viewed as investments, though some have been inherited. YPulse data shows that 52% of 13-39-year-olds in the U.K. have a collection of some sort, whether that’s trading cards, makeup, pins, books, jewelry, and more. (The Independent)
