Most Gen Z are skeptical of GLP-1s and peptides.

Most Gen Z are skeptical of GLP-1s and peptides. A new report by Cafeteria shows 72% of Gen Z don’t plan to include GLP-1s in their general health plan, despite its previous surveys showing rising interest from young people about weight loss drugs. YPulse data also shows that very few Gen Z are actually trying these drugs, and few are even interested. According to Cafeteria, much of the opposition stems from ethical questions around weight loss drugs, like creating shortages and price increases for a drug made for those with diabetes, as well as opposing the comeback of unhealthy Y2K-era beauty standards. The report also shows that 85% of Gen Z females specifically reject peptidesβ€”and often associate it with looksmaxxers and frat bro steroid users. (PRWeb)
