Hinge made more new tools to help young people connect. In recent months, Hinge has launched several initiatives tailored to young daters, including brand platforms called “It’s Funny We Met on Hinge,” which follows the stories of real-life couples who met on the platform and “Can’t Believe We Met on Hinge,” which features couples talking about how they felt about online dating before meeting their partner. Aside from online campaigns, Hinge has also made efforts to boost IRL events with One More Hour, an initiative in which Hinge funds Gen Z-founded community groups to support in-person connection, whether they’re romantic or not. These engaging efforts might be the key to winning over young people, especially since our data shows that 65% of 18-39-year-olds agree, “dating apps are not as good as they used to be.” (Marketing Brew)
