Notably, it’s a darker shade of green than their classic, minimal icon and many said it made it blend into the black background, making it look muted like an app mid-update. The plan was always for the ball to be a temporary logo change, and as negative takes on it abounded across social media, the official brand account replied to some assuring it would be gone soon.
