Gen Z got their wish: the Dr Pepper jingle went official. Now, everyone wants in.

Gen Z got their wish: the Dr Pepper jingle went official. Now, everyone wants in. Just a few weeks ago, YPulse told you about the simple, but very effective fan jingle Dr Pepper was benefiting from. And as they should, the brand formally licensed the song from creator Romeo Bingham and turned it into a 15-second TV spot that aired during the College Football Playoff National Championship. But now, TikTokers have realized “brand baiting” (as Silence, Brand! dubbed it) is a potential avenue to overnight success. Though, they’re not taking it so seriously right now. Creators are posting their own quickly written “jingles” for all kinds of brands, ready to get their own huge ad deal.
