Gen Z parents are focusing on “cycle-breaking” over gentle parenting.Β A new survey of 2K parents in the U.K. reveals that 41% of Gen Z parents prioritize healing generational trauma and avoiding patterns from their own childhoodsβ€”with only 32% employing gentle parenting. That said, 43% of Gen Z parents believe gentle parenting works in some situations, with 38% say there’s a time and place for it. The most common trends among all parents include prioritizing real-world consequences and forming strong emotional bonds, with 54% saying their key focus is preparing children for the real world. For a generation raised on therapy speak and self-awareness, parenting has become less about perfecting one method and more about blending emotionally in-tune approaches. (The Sun)
