Italian Gen Z are fuelling the job-hopping trend in Europe. A recent study revealed that Gen Z is more likely than any other gen to plan to leave their job in the next twelve months, earning them the nickname “office frogs.” And looking at data across the region shows that Italy has the highest number of Gen Z planning to switch jobs in the next year (37%), while French Gen Z are the least likely to move (29%). The authors of the study suggest that Gen Z’s lack of loyalty towards employers is, more than anything else, “a reaction to unmet expectations and a keen desire for progression.” (Euronews)
