Brands came together at SXSW last week to give insight on their success with emojis. The conference was led by the CEO of Snaps, which provides companies with the opportunity to join the 50 billion daily consumer messages with branded keyboards. Comedy Central used Snaps for their Millennial driven show Broad City and saw 3.5 million emojis sent within seven weeks. According to them, the emojis: “were in line with messaging that fans were already sending to their friends,” and they were able “to allow superfans to send messages and market the show.” (Adweek)
