TikTok Creator Fest 2025 is celebrating its livestreaming. Running through July 5, the event is a virtual festival designed to boost activity on TikTok Live. Creators are encouraged to go live more often and complete specific “missions” like streaming a certain number of times or reaching engagement goals to earn points and unlock rewards. Viewers can join in by sending virtual gifts to their favorite creators, and during the fest, these gifts count for double points and turn into rewards for the sender as well. The more creators participate, the higher they move up on a leaderboard where top-ranking creators receive special perks and may even be invited to TikTok’s Global LIVE red carpet event later this year. YPulse predictedthat in 2025, livestream shopping would go mainstream for Gen Z, and TikTok Live’s success is at the forefront of that movement. (Mashable)
