Calvin Klein is releasing a new body mist aimed at Gen Z. Earlier this year, YPulse told you that fragrance has officially become one of Gen Z’s favorite accessories. Young women, men, and even tweens are hyperfixated on smelling good, using “scent wardrobes” to express themselves. Now, Calvin Klein is cashing in on the hype with their own Hair & Body Perfume Mists—which will run $38 each, making them a bit more luxury than Gen Z’s beloved dupes. The line will include scents like Cotton Musk, Nude Vanilla Sheer Peach, and Silky Coconut, all infused with glycerin for a moisturizing effect. Javier Zotes Ciancas, senior vice president of Calvin Klein Fragrances at Coty, says the brand wanted to “create something very simple, very accessible, kind of like the underwear,” citing the affordability of body mists compared to traditional perfumes, as well as the gen’s love for layering scents, aiming for their mist to be a go-to base layer.
