Boston is looking into building ‘Millennial Villages’ to solve its affordable housing crisis. The influx of post-grad students and young workers who share rented apartment units, like duplexes and garden apartments, have driven up prices for single professionals and families. To offer these younger residents more options, a committee is advising more “appropriately-sized and priced housing for the 20-34 year olds,” so they can move on from multiple room residences.
