Millennial women think investing is “for old white men.” According to a recent study by investment app Stash, 60% of Millennial women believe investing is something typically done by an older white guy, and 76% find the process to be confusing. But it’s not only Millennial women who are avoiding investing: 79% of 18-34-year-olds overall said they are not putting money in the stock market. Many believe the don’t have enough money to do so (41%), with 70% believing they need at least $100 to start investing.
