Hershey is calling unicorns “the spirit animal of Millennials.” After researching the generation’s fascination with the fictional animal, Hershey concluded that unicorns represent “self confidence, individualism, [and] the ability to achieve personal greatness.”—which echo the generation’s values. As a result, Hershey is now featuring “empowering unicorns” in a promotional campaign for Ice Breakers. As part of the campaign, they celebrated National Unicorn Day on Twitter with a #UnicornMoment tweet at the top of users’ feeds and a music video featuring—you guessed it—a unicorn.
