The struggle is real for Millennials who are “adulting.” In 2014, our Chasing Neverland trend reported on Millennials seeking out experiences and products that bring them back to a state of childhood to escape the stresses of being a grownup. More and more brands have tapped into the desire, providing escapes to young adults ranging from summer camps to grown-up coloring books. One “digital detox” camp requires campers to put away their devices for four days and engage in fitness activities. Our data revealed this year that 70% of 18-33-year-olds agree they love doing things that make them temporarily forget that they are adults. (Adweek)
