“Micro-shifts” are the latest workplace trend Gen Z is reportedly leading.Defined as shifts of six hours or less, “micro-shifting” isn’t about working less—it’s about working more intentionally and balancing personal responsibilities like caregiving, education, or side gigs without sacrificing income.
