Are cities about to lose their Millennial urbanites?

Are cities about to lose their Millennial urbanites? A recent global survey has found that 58% of city-dwelling Millennials said they plan to leave within the decade. The top reasons for leaving cited by North Americans were high costs of living, safety concerns, employment, and reliable public transportation. According to study, if these issues were addressed by local government, along with access to health services, post-secondary education, and more “clean, open, and welcoming green space[s],” then Millennials are more inclined to stay put.
