Trolls, Pokémon, and Star Wars might rule the holidays. Toys R Us has just unveiled its predictions for the hottest toys this holiday season, and their “Fabulous 15” includes many animal-themed toys, a Pokémon Z-ring, and several toys tied to the upcoming movies Trolls and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story movies. Retailers are hopefully about holiday sales thanks to toys’ impressive performance in 2016 so far: U.S. sales jumped 7.5% in the first six months, and are expected to hit $1.4 billion this year, mostly due to the popularity of Star Wars toys, the best-selling category this year, followed by Nerf, Shopkins, and Pokémon.
