An updated, higher quality fast food menu won’t be enough to win over young consumers. When dining, Millennials are placing a “premium on overall experience,” seeking spaces that are comfortable, clean, and have attractive designs. In response, fast food chains like Arby’s, Taco Bell, and KFC have been undergoing extensive remodels to align with new menus—including Taco Bell’s ditching of cookie cutter design—and are seeing a lift in sales as a result.
