Fashion rental companies are helping designers figure out the Millennial consumer. Rent the Runway, which reportedly generates $15 billion in revenue yearly, has around 5 million Millennial consumers and a lot of data on what they like to wear. To meet the needs of their clients, the brand has been working with designers like Jason Wu and Marchesa to make off-the-runway looks trendier and more consumer-friendly. The company also consults with designers on item reviews, to report issues with fit and whether the item is sellable in the future. (Glossy)
