Engaging social media and a cool website aren’t enough to keep a Millennial consumer around. Over six in ten 18-34-year-olds have switched one of their favorite brands over the last 12 months, according to a new YouGov survey. When asked why, “behind-the scenes” factors like quality issues (49%), product availability (44%), company’s treatment of their employees (32%), and non-sustainable products (27%) were the most mentioned, while lack of social media presence, mobile app, or a cool website were only chosen by 9%, 7%, and 7% respectively.
