Yahoo has pulled the plugged on their chatbot travel assistant Radar, providing insight for brands looking to tap into the new trend. Although chatbots are revolutionizing the way brands interact with consumers, they can have their pitfalls, and for Yahoo that was a creating a bot with a lack of easy access. Radar helped consumers plan trips and book flights, but required a Yahoo email account and was housed in its own app instead of a messaging platform like Facebook Messenger, which already has a large user base.
