Younger Millennials have come of age during a time of financial hardship, and their resulting practicality is influencing their shopping behavior. Teens today are more likely to reuse last year’s clothes, and a recent poll reported that 39% are reusing clothing in 2015 compared to 26% in 2011. Qualitatively, these young consumers have learned that paying full price is not necessary, with one 15-year-old girl saying, “I buy on sale because it's stupid to buy a pair of shorts for $60.” (ABC)
