School lunches many be changing to help fight childhood obesity, but that doesn’t mean that kids are eating what’s put on their trays. A new study claims that many kids are just throwing their government mandated fruit and veggies in the trash. The researchers suggest that vegetables should be cut up and served with a dip, and that programs should be put in place to encourage healthy food consumption at home as well. (Fast Company)
