Gloving could be the “the next subculture to go big.” What started as a rave scene trend has evolved into a competitive mini-industry. A gloving competitions, including the annual International Gloving Championships, players (glovers) wear gloves with LED fingertips and dance-off in a freestyle that mostly features their light up hands. The rising sport is already profitable for some: glove company EmazingLights, funded onShark Tank, has projected sales of $13 million for this year and has opened six store locations across the U.S. and Canada.
