Gen Z is focusing on meaningful connections in all forms this Valentine’s Day.

Gen Z is focusing on meaningful connections in all forms this Valentine’s Day. Celebrating romance isn’t necessarily off the table, but when YPulse asks 13-24-year-olds who they are planning to give gifts to this Valentine’s Day, it’s clear that there’s plenty of love to go around. More than half (56%) of young adults plan on giving someone a gift this February and still see it as a romantic holiday—61% of those 18-24-year-olds say they’ll be gifting their significant others this year. But teens want to show love to their friends, so among the 43% of 13-17-year-olds planning to give gifts, their friends are number one on the list of recipients. Some young people are even gifting to their pets—since most of Gen Z aren’t parents yet, they’re showering their fur babies with gifts instead! (YPulse)
