Tubi is promoting their new show The Z-Suite with a “Gen Z style” Super Bowl ad.

Tubi is promoting their new show The Z-Suite with a “Gen Z style” Super Bowl ad. The show is an office comedy where Gen Z is given the C-Suite at an ad agency, shaking up their Gen X boss’s style. The live ad and longer Tubi ad are described as “hacky,” to mirror Gen Z’s social media and meme content. Referencing things like Gen Z email sign-offs, TikTok filters, and “POV” captions, the real marketing agency behind the ad is aiming to grab attention through confusion. But whether this is the actual ad Gen Z would have made is debatable and if the characters truly read as Gen Z, or more Gen Z-written-by-Gen X, is to be determined. (Adweek)
