Gen Z and Millennials in the U.K. are missing work to focus on their mental health. Recent research from Vitality reveals young employees miss the equivalent of a full day’s work each week due to mental health issues, with those under 30-years-old losing as many as 60 productive days annually. On average, U.K. workers feel unable to work for nearly 50 days a year, costing the economy Β£138B. Younger workers are particularly impacted, facing mental health challenges without adequate employer support. Depression rates among younger workers are twice as high, accompanied by increased burnout and fatigue. (Fortune)
