It has evolved to include videos inspired by Trainspotting, lip-syncs to TOWIE stars, and satirical nods to the Oasis reunion. Many creators are embracing this trend, discussing typical activities they do when visiting London, like shopping at Tesco or enjoying a sausage roll from Greggs. Not only is #Britishcore experiencing rapid growth, TikTok has also reported a significant increase in posts featuring the hashtags #ukcomedy, #ukfashion, and #uktravel since January.
